‘Some Men Think I Am Misleading Their Wives’ – May Edochie

May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has spoken about some men’s misconceptions about her lifestyle.

Naija News reports that May, in an interview with Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, said she loves family and marriage because without it, people would not exist.

May also stated that she is not an advocate of divorce or separation.

She said, “Some men see it like I am misleading their wives. You know why because I love family, I love marriage, and I see it as the basis for family. Without family, there would be no you or me. I am not in any way advocating divorce or separation; let me categorically state here that I am not an advocate of divorce.”

Speaking further, May noted that she does not bring her personal issues online, adding that her family, friends, and online families are a big support system to her.

She said, “Having a positive mindset is key for me. I embrace authenticity, I do not take my personal issues to social media. I have this big support system: my family and friends; they are always there for me when I need them, and then my online family members. They are like a pillar; they are reliable and dependable, and they’re ready to give it back to anyone who displays their insincerity. If you choose to display your insensitivity and when it gets over the board, they come for you.”
