Super Eagles Await Yusuf’s Scan Result

Alhassan Yusuf has undergone scan to ascertain the extent of the injury he suffered in Nigeria’s clash with Equatorial Guinea.

Yusuf was forced out of Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw with the Nzalang Nacional on Sunday.

The Royal Antwerp midfielder was replaced in the 68th minute by Southampton’s Joe Aribo.

“He (Yusuf) went to the hospital this morning for the test,”a reliable camp source told Completesports.com in Cote d’Ivoire.

“We are waiting for the result and hopefully it will be a positive outcome.”
The 23-year-old trained separately from his teammates on Monday.
