The Swiss Public Prosecutor’s Office has decided that it will stop investigations against Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Secretary General, Veron,



Mosengo-Omba as they found no facts or legal basis to initiate legal proceedings.
In November 2024, Veron Mosengo-Omba voluntarily travelled to Fribourg PR Switzerland to answer questions relating to the preliminary investigations.

CAF welcomes the decision of the Swiss Public Prosecutor’s Office and is pleased that there continues to be adherence and compliance within CAF and the CAF Secretariat with the culture and commitment to ethics, transparency and governance that was introduced since the Presidency of Dr Patrice Motsepe.
