- Anthony Joshua (26-3-0)
The British-Nigerian is a highly acclaimed heavyweight boxer, recognised globally for his exceptional skills in the ring. With his remarkable strength, technique, and unwavering determination, Joshua continues to captivate and inspire fans worldwide.
The 34-year-old holds an impressive record of 26 victories and three losses and is a former two-time unified heavyweight champion.
- Efe Ajagba (19-1-0)
At 29, Ajagba boasts a commendable record of 19 wins and only one loss loss. The Silent Roller’ represented Nigeria in the Rio 2016 Olympics and has won a WBC Silver heavyweight title as a pro.
As an amateur, he won a gold medal at the 2015 African Games and bronze at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Congo Brazzaville.
Following his only loss against Frank Sánchez, Ajagba came back strongly to score a routine knockout win over Jozsef Darmos. He followed this up with an impressive victory against 18-0 Stephen Shaw, then he took the WBC Silver from Zhan Kossobutskiy, with all three wins coming within a year, from August 2022 to August 2023.
- Taiwo Agbaje (16-0-0)
Featherweight boxer, Agbaje maintains an immaculate record of 16 victories. Holding the WBF Intercontinental championship belt, Agbaje’s skillset and undefeated status illustrate his dominance in the featherweight category.
The 31-year-old is ranked 39th in the world by the WBF and has secured 11 of his victories by way of knockouts.
- Joshua Wahab (23-1-0)
Wahab holds an impressive record of 23 wins and only one defeat. The reigning WBO Africa champion’s consistent performances highlight his prominence within the super featherweight division.
The 25-year-old super featherweight boxer fighting out of Ghana has won 16 of his fights with knockouts since he made his professional debut.
- Oluwafemi Oyeleye (14-0-0)
The 29-year-old super welterweight boxer holds an undefeated record of 14 wins with eight of them coming by way of knockouts.
Residing in the United States of AmericA, Oyeleye is the the WBC Intercontinental champion, and his skills and unbeaten streak elevate his status within the super-welterweight category.
As an amateur he won a gold medal in the men’s welterweight event at the 2015 African Games in Congo.
- Tope Tajudeen (16-1-0)
Tajudeen boasts an impressive record of 16 victories and one loss. His consistent performances and determination have solidified his standing as one of the best in Africa within the featherweight division.
The 26-year-old has developed a reputation as a knockout specialist with 14 of his 16 wins ending by stoppage.
- Ridwan Oyekola (12-2-2)
The WBF super-featherweight World champion, Oyekola, holds a record of 12 wins, two losses, and two draws. The 26-year-old’s achievements showcase his resilience and dedication within the boxing realm.
Japan-based Oyekola, who started his professional career in 2017, has won seven of his fights via knockouts. Nicknamed ‘Scorpion’, the Nigerian has only suffered one loss since 2019.
- Oluwatosin Kejawa (10-0-0)
22-year-old Kejawa’s promising career trajectory indicates his potential within the light-heavyweight category.
Kejawa captured the WBC Africa title on November 25 in a hard-fought battle against Tanzanian Abdul Ubaya with a split decision win after a grueling ten-round spectacle.
This pivotal win marked Kejawa’s tenth professional bout, extending his immaculate record to 10 victories, with five knockouts to his credit.
- Suleiman Jafaru (15-0-0)
Jafaru holds an undefeated record of 15 wins since he started his career in 2019. The reigning WBO Africa super-welterweight champion’s accomplishments show his dominance within the middleweight division in the continent.
80 per cent of his victories have come by way of knockouts with 12 KOs secured as he started his career with three knockouts in a row.
- Tosin Osaigbovo (8-0-0)
Youngest on the list at 21-year-old, Oaigbovo maintains an impeccable record of eight wins and seven knockouts. His consistent performances at a young age makes him a rising star within the lightweight division and is definitely one to watch.
