Tiwa Savage, Simi, others to grace FirstBank’s December concert

One of Nigeria’s commercial banks, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, has announced its lead sponsorship of the concert ‘A Night of Queens.’

The bank disclosed this on Saturday via information from its website, as obtained by PUNCH Online, adding that the concert will help to” further foster family bonding, entertainment, and nation-building during the festive season.”

The concert which is part of the bank’s annual campaign, ‘DecemberIssaVybe,’ will be graced by top Nigerian heavyweight Afrobeat female singers such as Tiwa Savage, Teni, Simi, Waje, Niniola, Yemi Alade, amongst others.

The bank stated that the concert, which was organised in collaboration with an international entertainment company in Nigeria, Livewire Concerts, will be held on Sunday, December 17th, 2023, at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The statement read in parts, “The energy, excitement, and fun that these talented women bring to the stage are simply contagious, and the audience is sure to be swept away by the undeniable talent and passion.

“These vocal powerhouses will showcase the incredible talent and diversity of Nigeria’s female music scene, leaving music enthusiasts begging for more. With their track records, one can expect an evening filled with maximum entertainment and musical delight.”

FirstBank, along with its corporate partner, aims to “create a lasting impression on the audience with this groundbreaking flagship musical event.”

The bank noted that the concert” signals a celebration of female excellence and a tribute to the groundbreaking achievements of these remarkable artists as each of the female superstars has made significant contributions to the Nigerian music industry, inspiring countless women to dare to dream and strive for greatness.”

The statement read further, “But that’s not all! As part of the ‘DecemberIssaVybe’ campaign, FirstBank has curated a lineup of other star-studded events for customers and followers to enjoy. From Asake’s concert in Abuja and Lagos, to Adekunle Gold’s musical extravaganza, Street Souk at Harbour Point, Super Family Fair, A True Christmas Story, Eko Hotel PrideLand Adventures, Duke of Shomolu Productions, Kakadu The Musical, and the Calabar Carnival Festival, there’s something for everyone.”

To attend the event at no cost, “FirstBank will be giving away VIP tickets to ‘A Night of Queens’ and all other events through their social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, and more.”

Interested participants are advised to follow the bank on its social media handles, answer simple questions, and stand a chance to win a VIP ticket and experience the vybe at ‘A Night of Queens.’
