UCL: PSG beat Man City in thrilling 4-2 encounter

Paris Saint-Germain delivered a sensational comeback performance to secure a 4-2 victory over Manchester City in their UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday night.

The Parisians overcame a two-goal deficit in a pulsating second half that showcased their attacking prowess.

The first half ended goalless despite notable moments. Manchester City’s Ruben Dias and PSG’s Nuno Mendes both received yellow cards in the opening 23 minutes, setting a tense tone for the match.

A crucial VAR decision at the 45th minute denied Achraf Hakimi a potential goal, keeping the scoreline at 0-0 heading into halftime.

Manchester City struck early in the second half, with Jack Grealish finding the net in the 50th minute. Just three minutes later, Erling Haaland doubled their lead, capitalising on PSG’s defensive lapses.

However, PSG refused to back down. Ousmane Dembélé reignited the home side’s hopes with a 56th-minute goal, assisted by Bradley Barcola.

Barcola turned scorer four minutes later, levelling the match with a composed finish off a pass from Djed Spence Doue.

The momentum swung entirely in PSG’s favour when João Neves put them ahead in the 79th minute, courtesy of a setup from Vitinha.

With City pressing for an equaliser, Gonçalo Ramos sealed the victory deep into stoppage time, scoring in the 90+6’ minute to make it 4-2.
