Why I Will Not Hold Concert In Lagos This December – Kizz Daniel

Nigerian star singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, also known as Kizz Daniel, has said he will not be holding a concert in Lagos this December.

Kizz Daniel, who released his latest hit, ‘Marhaba‘, cited the hardships citizens face due to government economic policies.

The ‘Buga‘ crooner disclosed this on his X handle Friday night in response to a fan who asked if he would hold a Christmas concert.

The fan asked, “Are you holding any concert this December?”

Nah…[I] would rather do cho cho cho this December… Money no too dey Lagos this time,” Kizz Daniel responded.

Kizz Daniel is one of Nigeria’s entertainment stars who has decried the hardship citizens face due to the policies of the government.

Naija News reported that Celebrity musician, David Adeleke, known as Davido, had in a podcast, in the United States condemned the hardship Nigerians face daily trying to survive.

Davido regretted that though Nigeria is an oil-rich country, it imports petrol and other bye products of crude oil.

According to him, if the country gets the right leadership the lives of the citizens would change for good.

I tell people, I say if you can survive in Lagos or you can survive in Nigeria rather, you can survive anywhere. I feel like we’re survivors; we’re strong-willed people.

“Nigeria, if you go anywhere in the world, everybody has Nigerian friends. Whether you’re Chinese or…you have Nigerian friends everywhere in the world. I fly to do shows, Nigerian restaurants are there, and Nigerian communities are there. It just shows that we’re a force.

“I just feel the only thing is just missing is just the right leaders to lead us. Once we get that right, I don’t think there’s anything that will stop us,” Davido said.
