WTC To Provide Mass Housing Solutions In 2024

 

The World Trade Center Abuja, has promised to provide mass, affordable housing solutions for the middle class in Nigeria next year.

The WTC vice president, Ahmed Karim disclosed this yesterday at the sidelines of the first ever in it kind end of the year business and networking cocktail, held at the WTC Abuja.

He said, “Presently, we have supper luxury but as part of our future plans to provide real estate solutions, we are looking into expanding into real estate solutions for the middle class and hopefully in the next coming year we are going to look into that. The general economic situation in Nigeria affected almost all businesses but we are able to cope. So we adopt to the changing environment.”

Speaking on the theme:”Urban Elegance” Reflecting the Sophistication, Diversity, and Dynamism of Abuja’s Business Community, Karim said the event was intended to celebrate the successes of the year and foster meaningful connections towards the New Year amongst clients, partners, trade associations and the diplomatic community, among others.

He said since the commencement of full operations at the World Trade Center (WTC) Abuja and its Trade Services Department across the real estate world, there has been speculation by interested parties wishing to know its operational status, the scope of its activities and the services it offers.

According to him, there had not been major public events or activity that would provide an avenue for WTC Abuja to open its doors for an all-inclusive experience for potential clients and partners to relish the WTC Abuja real estate brand.

“Therefore, there is a need to have a proper brand integration through periodic and strategic events to allow clients and other individuals to have a feel on the global stage using the lens of the 22nd floor of the WTC Abuja tower to navigate business opportunities and truly be integrated with its activities and service offerings is the primary concept for this event proposal.

“The goal is to celebrate the past and chart a course for the future and also create more awareness about the World Trade Centre Abuja. Because we have been a bit hesitant about going public below a lot of information but the first phase of the project is completed now.

“We are fully operational and we have clients close to us and it is time we just celebrate our customers and chats a course for the new year. In 2024, we hope to usher in new opportunities. We have been at the threshold of breaking a bonds in the real estate solutions in Nigeria. We hope that in 2024, in our position, the Church Group as a leader in real estate office and residential provisions in the whole of Nigeria.

“The world is changing rapidly this days. Firstly, we are looking at flexible solutions, flexible solutions where are able to provide flexible co working spaces to clients. We are also open to delivering prime real estate where you will design your own space and fix into your own requirements and you go with your own skills. These are the different solutions that we are able to provide right now.

Similarly, the General Manager Operations of the WTC, Mr. Ibukun Adeogun, said the World Trade Center Abuja, is open for business after years of delay and are faring very well.

He said, “This is the first purposely well built World Trade Center and it is part of the 320 World Trade Centers around the globe. It is 1.3bn investment of the Churchgate Group Ltd. We are showcasing a lot of things here. We have our residences which is luxury residences and we also have offices and when the second phase begins we are going to have hotel tower, convention centers and we are going to have the shopping malls. So what we are planning is that you will have your offices and residence here.”
